Request Account Deletion
Delete your PNASTAPP account and associated personal data.
1. Delete from within the app (preferred)
If you still have access to the PNASTAPP app, this is the fastest path:
- Open PNASTAPP and sign in.
- Go to your Profile → Settings.
- Tap Delete Account and confirm.
Deletion is processed immediately. You will be signed out and your account anonymised.
2. Request deletion if you cannot access the app
If you have lost your device, uninstalled the app, or are locked out of your account, submit the form below or email [email protected] from the address associated with your account, with the subject "Account Deletion Request".
We verify identity and process valid requests within 30 days, in line with Article 12(3) GDPR.
3. What is deleted
When your account is deleted, we anonymise your user record:
- Nickname is replaced with a generic placeholder.
- Profile picture and cover image are removed.
- Bio, social links and email address are wiped.
- Google identifier is disassociated.
- Push notification tokens are revoked.
4. What is retained — and why
- Your posts and comments remain visible on the platform, attributed to an anonymised account. Legal basis: Article 17(3)(a) GDPR (freedom of expression and information) and the legitimate interest of other users who interacted with that content in good faith. This preserves conversational integrity and prevents broken public discussions.
- Operational backups, until they are overwritten in the ordinary course of our retention schedule (typically within 30 days).
- Moderation records (reports filed against your account) where required for the integrity of our notice-and-action system under Article 16 DSA.
If you want a specific post or comment individually erased rather than anonymised, email [email protected] with the post URL. We assess each request against Article 17 GDPR on a case-by-case basis.
